WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The NoPa (North of the Panhandle) neighborhood and namesake park has evolved considerably over the years. Once an area occupied by shifting sand-dunes, NoPa is now a hot, somewhat edgy place to live. Peaceful yet packed with plenty to do, this area is particularly appealing to the young and techie set. The neighborhood is a well-defined five-by-six-block square, bordered by Divisadero Street, Turk Boulevard, Fell Street, and Masonic avenue. College students love this area for its proximity to USF and UCSF campuses. The weather is delightful in NoPa and often sunny when only a few blocks down, the fog wall may be rolling in.
